Institutional & Educational
We are very proud of our public sector projects. A large portion of our workload is with County and City agencies, utility companies, religious institutions, school districts, and colleges. Each requires a diverse list of services for their land development projects. Whether it’s a park, elementary school, church, recycling center, library, or fire station, LEA has the knowledge and experience to meet the needs of our public sector clients.
LEA has worked on a wide variety of medical projects over the years, from new hospitals and hospital expansions, to assisted living facilities and clinics, to medical office buildings for private practitioners.
Commercial & Industrial
We can manage any size project – from a small retail shop to large distribution center. Other commercial projects include office buildings, corporate office parks, hotels, banks, and restaurants. We are also experienced with industrial buildings and industrial parks.
LEA implements original and inventive designs into our projects. Whether it is a residential subdivision, retirement living facility, multi-family condominiums, or apartments, our team is well versed in a wide variety of residential projects.
Urban redevelopment involves the rehabilitation of city areas by renovating or replacing older buildings and sites with new projects. The benefit of these projects is that the infrastructure of roads, sidewalks, utilities, and transit is already in place, making them cost-effective to build.
Our team has obtained permits from many governmental agencies in Central Florida. We know the requirements, we know the processes, and we know the expectations of the agencies. The combined knowledge and local experience of our employees provides efficient and effective permitting for our projects, while meeting the timelines of our clients.
Construction Observation & Administration
Once a project is permitted, LEA can perform a number of services for our clients. For many projects, we create the bid documents, including specifications and Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Cost. Our team analyzes the bids and offers recommendations. Our experience assists the owner in selecting a contractor that will provide the best quality at a cost-effective price. Once construction commences, our field personnel observe how the contractors maintain compliance with the permits, standards, and specifications of the agencies, as well as addressing conflicts and field changes.
LEA can help you understand the constraints and opportunities of a site you are purchasing or developing. We can have environmental assessments performed to determine the potential presence of state and federally listed species, vegetation communities, jurisdictional wetlands, and natural resources. Assessments may include detailed wildlife surveys and hydrological evaluations.
Surveying and Mapping Services
We can provide surveying and mapping services for public, private, and industrial clients.
